Round 1 is a huge club round for Hawthorn. We have eight Junior teams playing on Friday night and one on Saturday morning, PLUS eight senior teams on Saturday and one on Sunday. A BBQ will be run at the club house on Saturday afternoon, so be sure to come down, grab a sausage and a beer and enjoy watching some great hockey on a beautiful day! Hope to see you there!

A Free Umpire Training Program will be held at the clubrooms at 6pm on Tuesday 27th March. The session will include an overview of the Hockey Victoria Rules & Regulations and their interpretation, as well as a practical session on the pitch covering positioning, use of the whistle and signalling.   The preseason training program has started, with sessions for men and women being held at 6.30pm on H-1 every Tuesday and Thursday. Sessions are being delivered by qualified personal trainer (and women’s coach) Tim Strapp. New and current players are encouraged to come along. Men / Women

The D-West team completed their unbeaten run with a 4-nil win over Elwood, conceding only 2 goals for the entire season.

E-South (Blue) won both major and minor premierships for the second year in a row, with a 2-1 win on a second penalty corner AFTER extra time.
