The Hawthorn Hockey Club began as a men’s hockey club, The Old Scotch Collegians’ Hockey Club, in 1924. The club played under the name of The Old Scotch Collegians’ Hockey Club until 1984, when it was renamed Hawthorn - Scotch Hockey Club.
