Hawthorn Hockey Club policies are based on respect and openness.
Non adherence to any policy, whether explicitly published or implied, will result in disciplinary action.

Member Protection Involves:
- Providing a safe and nurturing environment for all members of the sporting community.
- Protecting members from harassment, abuse, discrimination and other inappropriate behaviour.
- Providing education.
- Promoting and modelling positive behaviour.
- Compliance with relevant legislation, including Victorian Child Safe Regulations.
This policy covers officials, parents, administrators, spectators, volunteers and participants.
