Welcome to the Women’s Division
The Hawthorn Hockey Club in 2012 has women’s teams participating in the following divisions:
- State League 2
- Pennant A
- Pennant C
- Metro 1 South-East
- Metro 2 South-East
- Metro 3 South-East (from Rnd 7)
- Women’s Masters A (Veterans)
- Women’s Masters B South East (Veterans)
Such a wide diversity of teams gives us the opportunity to offer players of all skill levels an opportunity to play.
New players are always welcome and should contact Diana Brown-Greaves (Women’s President) .
We will commence our Pre Season Training on 10 January 2012 for all players but most particularly State League and Pennant teams. This follows closely the need to maintain fitness to play the best hockey possible.
Home and away matches commence the weekend of 13/14 April 2012 and conclude after 18 rounds at the end of August, followed by 3 weeks of finals.
Some team coaches are still to be confirmed, however we will have qualified coaches for all teams, as soon as possible.
HHC Womens Division conducts team selections every Tuesday before the weekend’s match and we communicate the selected teams to all members via email.
