Junior President’s Message for 2021

Dear parents of HHC junior players,

HHC Clinic

Thank you to those who participated in the HHC Clinic, I also strongly encourage participation in the clinic that will be running in February. My son Ben attended a hockey camp in July this year and he significantly improved his stick skills and confidence. These HHC Clinics will be run by our Premier League players so it's a great opportunity for the kids to meet them and learn from the best.

Term 4 wrap-up

It has been great to get some summer hockey happening this term after another difficult year. The Summer6's on Friday nights was fun and it was great to see some new junior players join the club. We also had five indoor junior teams playing in competitions held at Monash and the new indoor facility at Parkville.

There were definitely some challenges getting these competitions organised with the uncertainty around COVID-19 regulations but I think it has been well worth it.

Thank you to all the volunteers (administrators, coaches, team managers & umpires) who made the Summer6's and indoor season successful and fun.

We wish you all a great holiday season and look forward to seeing you again for a huge winter season in 2022!

Indoor Term 4 2021

Our indoor teams have performed fantastically at all age groups. The U12 Girls team and our U12 Mixed team are currently both equal first on the ladder! Our U14's have been playing hard in a challenging mixed shield competition. The U16's are equal second with 4 wins from 5 and the U18s are fourth with 3 wins from 5 - great effort!

Indoor Club Championships 2022

We will be entering teams in the U14, U16 and U18 boy's and girl's competition's which will be held in February and March - Register Now!

Outdoor Teams 2022

In the 2022 winter season, we will be fielding teams in every age group for girls, boys and district competitions. We will also be running Hookin2Hockey school programs.

New Players 2022

The club will be focussing on building up player numbers next year. More players at each level helps us create more balanced teams where kids are playing at the appropriate level and age group which will make it more enjoyable for everyone! One of the best ways we can recruit players is word of mouth. So please ask you kids to talk to their friends and encourage them to try out hockey. We will accommodate training to develop new players at all age groups.
