JUNIORS

Welcome to the Juniors Section

Junior President’s Message

Dear parents of HHC junior players,

Outdoor Teams

In the 2024 winter season, we aim to be fielding teams in every age group for girls, boys and district competitions. We will also be running Hookin2Hockey school programs.

New Players

The club will be focussing on building up player numbers next year. More players at each level helps us create more balanced teams where kids are playing at the appropriate level and age group which will make it more enjoyable for everyone! One of the best ways we can recruit players is word of mouth. So please ask you kids to talk to their friends and encourage them to try out hockey. We will accommodate training to develop new players at all age groups.

Our club, like all clubs, relies on many volunteers to operate. This includes the President – Junior Division, Age level co-ordinators, Team managers, Coaches, Hookin2Hockey co-ordinators, Indoor co-ordinators etc, right down to people to volunteer to run the BBQ when it is Hawthorn’s turn.

We NEED help to run your child’s team efficiently, so contact myself or your age coordinator to find out how you can help. It does not take much effort and is a great way to support your kids.
