Leaving it to the last match of the season, Hawthorn finally defeated MCC 3-2 in a hard fought Grand Final that could have easily gone to shootouts.
We lost to MCC in the Semi Final, as well as round 1 and with a draw in round 10 MCC were our arch rivals. Losses to other top 4 teams Camberwell and Mentone meant that the ladder showed it was going to be a great finals series.
