On Saturday the 29th of April at our Club Day we opened the doors to our new clubhouse.
This has been a long time coming with our build meant to have begun in 2021. It was so good to see so many people down there including Life Members; Bill Hutchinson, Ross Blair-Holt, Marg Tominson, Anthony Darby, Richard Ingram, Tom Hudson, Craig Fairbrother, Andrew Rook and Lizzie Liard.
After an Acknowledgement of Country from MP Monique Ryan, Andrew Rook conducted the proceedings. It was great to hear about the build and the new facilities that we are now able to enjoy. Thank you to Marg Tominson and Bill Hutchinson for coming together to cut the Grand Opening ribbon.
It was great that the sun was shining for everyone to enjoy the rest of the Club Day. We had a food truck, music, dogs with Hawks bandanas, a BBQ and custom mouthguard fittings from our dental practice sponsor Winter Smiles.
Thank you to everyone who contributed in the build, helped with the setup, took photos and made this day possible. We will be having many more events at the clubhouse this season and we hope to see you all down there!
