On Sunday 27 November, 10:30am – 2pm, we will be hosting the JR Lugg Memorial match on H-1.
This year, the games will be played in a tournament style between HHC, Old Xav’s and MHSOB to support and raise funds for mental health.
The JR Lugg Memorial game was founded to perpetuate the memory of Jonathan, who was heavily involved Hawthorn as a junior and then later at Old Xav’s as a senior. Jono took his own life in 2009 and each year we take this opportunity to both remember and celebrate him and to generate awareness of mental health and the devastating impact it can have on the community, particularly in young adults.
It would be great to get everyone down to Hawthorn to get together to support this cause. Food is provided and drinks are available for purchase.
